Five Step Guide
Repairing your collision damaged auto can be
frustrating if you don’t know what to expect. You
may ask yourself, “What are they doing to my
car?” “Why is it taking so long?”
Collision & Classics wants to help ease your mind
by providing the steps we take to get your
damaged vehicle back to its pre-collision
condition. Below is a five-step guide of what
happens when your vehicle enters our repair
center.
1 – Evaluation and Estimate
Your vehicle will be inspected and a computerized
estimate will be provided. Computers help us
make an estimate that is as accurate as possible;
however some damage may not be uncovered
until your vehicle has been disassembled for
repair. If more damage is discovered during the
repair process, we will contact you for your
approval before any additional repairs are
performed.
2 – Approval and Parts
Once we have received you or your insurance
company’s approval, parts will be ordered. Parts
usually arrive quickly, but can take longer due to
the type of part needed, manufacturer, and
availability.
3 – Parts Prepared, Body and Structure
Repairs
After your vehicle parts arrive, they may need
test fitting, adjustment or alignment during
installation. Then body and structure repairs are
completed to factory specifications. The latest
computer equipment is used in this process to
ensure accuracy.
4 – Painting
Your vehicle will be prepped and painted using
BASF Glasurit 90Line, an environmentally friendly
waterborne automotive paint. Waterborne paints
are used in manufacturing today’s automobiles.
5 – Detail and Inspection
Any pin striping or other fine detailing, decals,
emblems and signage will be installed at this
time. Your car will be inspected and test driven by
our estimators. After a wash and polishing you
will be notified that your vehicle is ready for pick-
up.

equipment used please see our Partners page. Or
